About Lucas Tomczak
Lucas Tomczak is the founder of 3T Competence. He began his career as an Anaesthetic Technician, spending around ten years working clinically before moving into simulation and healthcare education. That firsthand experience, and its limitations, shaped how he thinks about clinical skills training and what it actually takes for students to develop genuine procedural confidence.
Through 3T Competence, Lucas works alongside nursing programs, skills lab coordinators, and clinical educators to develop training resources that fit the realities of modern healthcare education. Larger cohorts, stretched faculty, and the ongoing challenge of giving every learner enough hands-on repetition to be genuinely prepared for clinical practice.
